ZPM's Laltluangkima elected Mizoram's lone Rajya Sabha member
K. Laltluangkima of the Zoram People's Movement has been elected as Mizoram's sole Rajya Sabha member. He secured a decisive victory over his Mizo National Front opponent. The election took place in the state Assembly. Laltluangkima will now represent Mizoram in the Upper House of Parliament. The polling was conducted peacefully with a high voter turnout.
