West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari provided compensation to families of eleven deceased migrant workers. He also pledged future employment opportunities for migrant workers within the state. One family member from each of the eleven families will receive home guard jobs. The Chief Minister mentioned that industrial units fled during the previous regime, forcing youth to seek work elsewhere.
