Pat Cummins was appointed SRH captain ahead of IPL 2024, taking over from South Africa’s Aiden Markram after the Australian was signed for a massive Rs 20.50 crore at the 2024 auction, following his success in the World Test Championship and the 2023 ODI World Cup triumph. Before joining SRH, Cummins featured in the IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals.
