First freight train reaches Anantnag cementing Kashmir's rail connectivity
The inaugural freight train was loaded with 21 BCN wagons of cement and covered the nearly 600-kilometre journey in less than 18 hours. The cement will be used for crucial projects, including the construction of roads, bridges, public infrastructure and residential housing in Kashmir.
