Yankees replace injured Marcus Stroman with a Triple-A pitcher
The New York Yankees put pitcher Marcus Stroman on the 15-day injured list Friday with inflammation in his left knee in a dud performance against the San Francisco Giants on April 11, 2025. Strongan allowed five runs in two innings of work in humid conditions. He was replaced by Allan Winans, who was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
