'Will BJP state president K Annamalai quit if he fails to prove that I ate non-vegetarian food on Thiruparankundram hill': Ramanathapuram MP K Navas Kani
BJP president K Annamalai accused IUML MP K Navas Kani of eating non-vegetarian food at Thiruparankundram Temple Hill. Kani challenged Annamalai to prove the allegation or resign. Kani stated that his supporters did eat non-vegetarian food and claimed no party but BJP commented on the issue. He accused BJP of politicising the matter.
