US: Indian-origin store owner accused of kidnapping, assaulting shoplifter in Kentucky
Kaushalkumar Patel, a store owner in Louisville, allegedly kidnapped and brutally assaulted a man accused of stealing vape cartridges. Patel and others chased the man, pepper-sprayed him, and beat him in a garage. The victim sustained multiple injuries and required hospital treatment. Patel, arrested and charged, remains in custody with a $75,000 bond.
