The Hanuman Mandir row: How Rana Ayyub and Islamo-leftists hailed a gurudwara and mosque but vilified the temple for closing gates amid stone pelting by cockroaches

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest, ongoing at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar since June 2026, has witnessed hunger strike, social media campaigns, politics, and blatant Hinduphobia. In a fresh such display of anti-Hindu hatred, Islamo-leftists are villainising Hindus by claiming that while a mosque and a gurudwara reportedly opened their gates for CJP protestors during violence on 20th July, a Hanuman Mandir did not.   It has been claimed that Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and a local mosque opened their gates for CJP protestors to take shelter as the Delhi Police resorted to a lathicharge after ‘protestors’, including several political party workers, pelted stones.   Highlighting this, several Islamo-leftists claimed that despite being near the protest site near Connaught Place, the Prachin Hanuman Mandir did not offer shelter to CJP cockroaches.  In this vein, a ‘journalist’ Neha Dixit wrote on X, “The Gurudwara and the Mosque in Central Delhi opened their gates for injured protesters. Why did the Hanuman Mandir in the vicinity shut its gates instead?”  Crowdfunding scam-accused Islamo-leftist Rana Ayyub gave mockery-riddled caste spin, and replied to Dixit, “Galti se koi dalit na chala jaaye [God forbid some Dalit accidentally goes in].”  In a video, some CJP protestors claimed that temple doors were closed to prevent their entry.  Highlighting the video, notorious Islamist-sympathiser Tarun Gautam wrote, “Pujaaris closed the temple gate after seeing injured protestors; meanwhile Gurudwaras not only took students inside, they protected them, fed them and sheltered them.”  Social media is flooded with numerous such posts peddling a false narrative that the Prachin Hanuman Mandir shut its doors to CJP protestors while the ‘beacons of secularism and humanity’, mosque and gurudwaras opened their gates.  While Islamo-leftists peddled a villainising narrative against the Hindu temple, OpIndia’s ground investigation revealed a contrary reality.   View this post on Instagram A post shared by On Record (@onrecordindia) In conversation with OpIndia, the administration of the Prachin Hanuman Mandir revealed that the temple gates were closed for ten minutes to protect devotees inside the temple from the ongoing violence. Why would the temple administration expose their premises for unruly rioters to attack and vandalise the temple and target innocent people?  The temple authorities closed the gates as a basic security and self-preservation measure amidst heavy stone-pelting directed at and around the site. Allowing entry to the violent CJP mob would have essentially meant inviting damage, desecration, and risking the lives of people who had nothing to do with the protests.   No way the Hindu temple would have accommodated those pelting stones or supporting the stone pelters in the name of ‘protests’. The whole ‘peaceful student protest’ facade fell apart the moment CJP protestors pelted stones and attacked the police, crossing into rioting territory.  The hypocrisy of the Islamo-leftist lot is villainising, and guilt-tripping Hindus is amusing. They regularly spew venom against Hindus and mock Hinduism in the name of freedom of speech, rationality, scientific temper and whatnot, and yet expect Hindus to be their saviour.  The gurudwara and the mosque, Islamo-leftists are hailing as “minority religious places showed humanity”, were not under attack. Stones were not pelted at or around the gurudwara or any mosque.  Moreover, a significant majority of Muslims are anti-BJP, and pray for the Modi government’s fall. In fact, Islamists openly say that the ‘Nizam’ will change, Babri Masjid will be re-built by demolishing Ayodhya Ram Mandir that they believe Modi government built. It is not surprising that a mosque may have sheltered those posing an on-street and violent opposition to the Central government.  The Islamo-leftists also have no problem with sword-yielding Nihang Sikhs entering the CJP protest. But had Bajrang Dal activists staged a counter-protest carrying sharp weapons, the Hindu-hating cabal would have labelled them as ‘Hindutva terrorists.’  Quite efficiently, the left-liberals shifted attention from the bigger issue, stone-pelting at and around the Prachin Hanuman Mandir, to the same temple under attack not sheltering CJP protestors.  Be it Bangladesh, where anti-government ‘student protests’ culminated in the Islamist onslaught against Hindus, or the CJP ‘Chalo Sansad’ protest, somehow Hindus and Hinduism end up becoming a target.   While the CJP protest was claimed to be about NEET paper leak, exam irregularities and seeking Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation, the CJP hosted Islamo-leftist elements who have earned notoriety for peddling anti-Hindu hatred.  The CJP platformed actor Prakash Raj, who wants to eradicate Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism) joined the protest, ex-JNU professor Nivedita Menon who mocked Hindu victims of Love Jihad supported CJP, ‘comedian’ Kunal Kamra delivered derogatory remarks against Mata Sita from CJP’s protest stage; now-ousted CJP member Vijeta Dahiya made Hinduphobic remarks; Delhi University professor Nandita Narayan sang “Bas naam rahega Allah ka” and glorified Pakistani poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s Islamic supremacist and iconoclasm glorifier poem “Hum Dekhenge”; while leftist student groups raised anti-national slogans of “Azadi-Azadi” and “Brahmanwad se azadi”.  While one CJP cockroach issued a derogatory “Ram mare huye hain” remark, the other said, “Ram Mandir or whatever the fuck…”.   “Ram Mandir or whatever the fuck…”Every temple should be closed for such people & their supporters pic.twitter.com/WjwR58mdkp https://t.co/ZcKctOZT4P— Fuhrer (@GroFaZ_) July 22, 2026 One CJP protestor even declared that “Muslims are a hundred thousand times better than Hindus”.  From now-expelled CJP leader Vijeta Dahiya to a significant section of the CJP cockroaches, they have openly expressed their hatred for Hindus and Hinduism and yet have the audacity to expect temples to grant them refuge.  Meanwhile, online Islamo-leftists like Rana Ayyub have shrewdly injected a caste-based sarcastic jab, further vilifying and dividing Hindus.  Clearly, left liberals are as secular and tolerant as the CJP protest is apolitical and peaceful.
