School adopts zero waste campus model
Zero Waste Campus: The initiative, funded by a corporate sponsor, aims to transform the school with a model of effective waste management and environmental responsibility. The ZWC model encourages institutions to eliminate single-use items, compost wet waste, segregate dry waste into 20 categories, and channel it for recycling while ensuring that the rejected waste is sent to an empanelled vendor. Notably, the school will also generate income by selling the segregated dry waste.
