Punjab assembly session begins with tributes to former PM Manmohan Singh
The two-day special session of the Vidhan Sabha began on Monday, paying tributes to prominent personalities, including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and AAP MLA Gurpreet Singh Bassi Gogi. Leader of opposition Partap Singh Bajwa urged the House to pass a resolution recommending Bharat Ratna for Manmohan Singh. The House also honored several former ministers, MPs, MLAs, and freedom fighters.
