Pune: Man arrested for robbery near Chakan bus stand; worker assaulted, Rs 36,500 stolen
Pimpri Chinchwad police apprehended a 26-year-old man for a daring robbery near Chakan bus stand. The accused, Akshay Pawar, assaulted a daily wage worker, Suresh Chavan, and fled with cash and a cellphone worth Rs 36,500. Police used CCTV footage to track down Pawar. His accomplice remains at large as investigations continue.
