Renowned Buddhist monk Bhante AB Gyaneshwar, president of the Kushinagar Bhikshu Sangh, passed away at 90 in Lucknow after a prolonged illness. A highly respected spiritual leader, he was the first Indian to receive Myanmar's highest religious title. His mortal remains will be brought to Kushinagar for public homage before final rites.
