Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed sadness that no member of Parliament claimed a wad of Rs 500 notes found last month in the Rajya Sabha. This was during the winter session. Dhankhar termed it a collective challenge to ethical standards and highlighted the historical absence of an ethics committee in Rajya Sabha until the late 1990s.
