New freshwater crabs discovered in the Western Ghats in Kerala
The new species belong to the freshwater crab family Gecarcinucidae. While Kasargodia sheebae was spotted in the Ranipuram Hill Station in Kasaragod district, the specimen of Pilarta vaman was collected from a small mountain stream at Gavi.
