Nashik district administration allocates Rs 8.8 crore for water scarcity alleviation plan

Nashik district administration approved an Rs 8.8 crore scarcity plan, focusing on drinking water supply measures. Due to better rainfall in 2024, fewer water supply tankers will be needed in summer 2025. Only around 150 villages may need tankers, compared to 1,500 villages in 2024. Repairs on water systems will also be undertaken.
