Karnataka to release 2tmcft water into Tungabhadra canal
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has declared the release of 2tmcft of water from Bhadra reservoir into the Tungabhadra canal to aid crops and provide drinking water in Koppal, Raichur, and Yadgir districts. From April 6, the focus will shift to supplying drinking water exclusively.
