Kannur student suicide case: Dental college HOD arrested from Karnataka
The prime accused in a student's alleged suicide has been arrested in Karnataka. M Kondanda Ram was apprehended after his anticipatory bail plea was dismissed by the Supreme Court. Investigators allege Ram insulted the Scheduled Caste student, Nithin Raj, in the classroom. Another faculty member, Dr Sangeetha Nambiar, has already secured anticipatory bail. The Crime Branch is also investigating an online lending firm connected to the student's death.
