It emphasised that the system is handled only through official government channels, and no internal or external consultancy firms are authorised to process or represent applicants. Earlier, a consultancy firm claimed that the country has launched a 'nomination-based' golden visa programme that offers a lifetime residency for a fee of AED 1,00,000 (Rs 23.3 lakh)
