IIT Ropar’s nanobubble method to clean village ponds

A pilot initiative to clean village ponds using a nano bubble generator, developed by IIT Ropar, was launched in Jasse Majra village in collaboration with the water supply department. The technique increases oxygen levels in the water, improving quality without chemicals. If successful, the project will be expanded to other village ponds. This eco-friendly method complements previous efforts like the Seechewal model and aims to rejuvenate ponds for sustainable water management.
