High Court tells Maharashtra to consider tank immersion for idols over 5 feet
Maharashtra Advocate General Birendra Saraf, appearing for the state, said that about 1.95 lakh idols would be immersed in the artifical tanks, while about 7,000 Plaster of Paris (PoP) idols which are above the set limit of five feet would be immersed in natural water bodies.
