Drone, missile strikes kill 3 Ulfa leaders in Myanmar, Indian Army denies role
Three top Ulfa(I) leaders, including its lower council chief, were killed in back-to-back aerial strikes near the India-Myanmar border, claimed the Paresh Baruah-led outlawed secessionist outfit. While it blamed Indian forces for the "drone and missile strikes", both the Army and Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma denied any involvement.
