CWG 2026: Gulveer Singh, Harjinder Kaur silver medals add lustre to campaign
Gulveer Singh won an unprecedented silver for India in the men’s 10,000m in the early hours of Wednesday. He clocked 27:49.78 to finish just behind Australia’s Ky Robinson. Meanwhile, Harjinder Kaur clinched a sensational silver in the women’s 69kg weightlifting event, setting personal bests of 101kg in snatch and 126kg in clean and jerk for a 227kg total. Canada’s Charlotte Simoneau claimed gold with a combined total of 240kg.
