Chandigarh horror: Man stabs mother 16 times on Diwali, slits throat
A 40-year-old man allegedly stabbed his 60-year-old mother 16 times at her Chandigarh residence on Diwali morning. The accused, reportedly mentally disturbed, fled the scene but was apprehended in Sonipat with the murder weapon. Police are investigating the incident further.
