BJP on its way to sweep urban bodies elections in Chhattisgarh, wins all 10 mayor posts
The BJP secured a landslide victory in Chhattisgarh's civic body elections, winning all ten mayoral posts and leading in numerous municipal wards. Elections for 173 urban bodies were held on February 11. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai credited the win to welfare schemes and fulfilled poll promises. The opposition Congress, AAP, and BSP also gained a few chairperson posts.
