Yamunanagar tops in state-level nutrition and gender ratio awards
Yamunanagar district in Haryana secured first place for its efforts in enhancing nutrition and gender ratio. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini honored officials on International Women’s Day. Initiatives such as Poshan Maah and the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign contributed significantly. Strict enforcement of the PCPNDT Act also helped in reducing female foeticide.
