The Royal Thai Government has declared a national mourning period to honour Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, who passed away on 24 October 2025 at the age of 93. Following the Bureau of the Royal Household’s announcement, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has ordered all government offices, state enterprises, and educational institutions to fly the national flag at half-mast for 30 days from 25 October.
