Sundargarh ASI held for taking bribe from eatery owner
Odisha vigilance arrested an assistant sub-inspector from Bargaon police station for accepting a Rs 25,000 bribe from a dhaba owner. Subsequent searches uncovered over Rs 3 lakh in cash and foreign currencies at his residences. The ASI had allegedly threatened the owner with arrest if the bribe wasn't paid.
