Rescued tiger cub dies in the Nilgiris; another cub shifted to Chennai’s Vandalur zoo
On April 25, forest department officials received information about two tiger cubs wandering on a private farmland near Alagar Malai in the Aramby beat of the Ooty North Forest Range. A special team first rescued a five-month-old female cub found in the area. After a continuous search, the second cub was located and rescued the next day.
