Polling began at 7 am for the Khasi and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Councils in Meghalaya amid tight security. Over 13 lakh tribal voters are set to decide the fate of 158 candidates in the KHADC and 114 in the JHADC across 2,281 polling stations. Counting will be held on Monday.
