Parsi woman who changed the dynamics of social work when funds were at a premium
Mary Clubwala Jadhav was born in Udhagamandalam on June 10, 1908. At the age 27, she lost her husband and joined the Guild of Service. Realising the need for professionals to continue social work, she visited various countries. The result was the Madras School of Social Work that she founded on the lines of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences
