Palamu ANMs Transferred Over Alleged Delivery Fee Demands
Three auxiliary nurse midwives at Panki community health centre were transferred for allegedly demanding Rs 10,000 for a delivery. The chief minister ordered immediate action and audits for all hospitals to prevent such malpractice. The ANMs were transferred to different Ayushman Arogya Mandirs after the family of a woman alleged they sought illegal gratification.
