OUAT plans to set up centres of excellence for research in agriculture, allied sciences
Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar will establish three Centres of Excellence focusing on genomics, bioinformatics, nanoscience, and regenerative farming. These centers, costing Rs 127.2 crore, aim to generate advanced knowledge and technologies to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability. The Odisha government is expected to fund these initiatives from 2025-26 to 2028-29.
