Odisha's transport department is launching new initiatives to enhance road safety. A project will monitor driving skills of students aged 18 and above in educational institutes, using video footage to identify and correct unsafe practices. The successful 'traffic warden' programme will also expand to six districts, deploying ex-servicemen and retired police personnel.
