NCB busts Myanmar-sourced drug racket in Manipur, 2 held with heroin
In a groundbreaking operation, the Narcotics Control Bureau, teaming up with the Assam Rifles, intercepted a staggering 7 kg of heroin estimated at around Rs 15 crore in Manipur. The drugs, cleverly concealed in soap cases and hailing from the Haichin region of Myanmar, were seized near the India-Myanmar border.
