Mumbai firm CEO held in Rs 1cr iPhone procurement scam
Mumbai police have apprehended Mrityunjay Prasad Gupta, CEO of Consolidated Private Limited (operating Maple), in Bengaluru concerning a Rs 1.01 crore iPhone 16 procurement scam. Gupta is accused of misleading clients with false promises and diverting funds. He is the fourth arrest in the case, following a complaint from a mobile trader.
