Meet Malati Murmu: The tribal woman from West Bengal who transformed her mud house into a free school for children
Malati Murmu started teaching village children without formal education in 2020. She taught them in her own home, which later became a community school. The learning center now serves about forty-five students from classes one to five. Malati teaches in Santali, Bengali, and English, preparing them for formal schooling. Her initiative provides tribal children a chance to learn and dream.
