Man held for posing as cop, duping theft victims in Maharashtra's Latur
A 25-year-old man was arrested in Latur, Maharashtra, for impersonating a police officer to defraud victims of stolen property. Vijay Aniruddha Kadam allegedly tracked theft cases, contacted victims with fake credentials, and promised recovery of valuables for large sums of money. Police recovered Rs 4.3 lakh from him.
