The Kerala Film Producers’ Association announced the financial performance of Malayalam films released in February, disclosing that out of 17 films, 11 incurred losses. Notably, ‘Love Dale’ had a production budget of Rs 1.6 crore but earned just ₹10,000 from theaters. The total production cost for these films was Rs 75 crore, while the total theater share was Rs 23 crore, leading to a loss of approximately Rs 53 crore in February alone.
