Maha Kumbh 2025: Fair price shops giving ration at subsidised rates in Prayagraj
The state government has introduced a subsidised ration scheme providing flour, rice, and sugar at reduced prices to support akharas, institutions, and kalpvasis during the Maha Kumbh. As directed by CM Yogi, 138 fair price shops have been established in the fair area, offering 1.2 lakh white ration cards for kalpvasis to access these items from January to February.
