Kendrapada gramin dak sevak booked for alleged embezzlement of Rs 20 lakh
A gramin dak sevak (GDS) from Baruna village post office in Kendrapada district has been accused of misappropriating approximately Rs 20 lakh from around 50 customers. The GDS, identified as Asiki Kumar Mahalik, is currently absconding after allegedly siphoning off funds by forging signatures and falsifying accounts.
