KDMC begins makeover of garbage-prone spots; aims to end open dumping
The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation has launched a special initiative to transform repeatedly dumped garbage spots into clean, attractive spaces. Under Municipal Commissioner Abhinav Goel's guidance, the campaign involves beautifying these Garbage Vulnerable Points with rangoli, murals, and greenery to discourage dumping and enhance the city's aesthetics. Ghantagadi services have also been extended to night hours to curb illegal dumping.
