Filmmaker K. S. Ravikumar revealed his Dhanush starrer 'Odi Polama' was shelved due to a financial crisis stemming from a poorly performing Vijay film. Despite a pooja and photoshoot, the project halted when producer Pyramid Natarajan faced losses. Ravikumar and Dhanush have since collaborated on 'Thangamagan' and the recently successful 'Kara'.
