Jamshedpur Police Salary Fraud Probe: Rs 45 Lakh Unauthorised Withdrawal Under Investigation
West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Manish Kumar has ordered a probe into the alleged unauthorized withdrawal of approximately Rs 45 lakh from police department salary accounts. A police constable has been detained for interrogation, and personnel from the police accounts section are also being questioned. A special accounting team from the state police headquarters has arrived to investigate the fraudulent transactions.
