Ishwari Pande scripts history, becomes first blind swimmer to cross Palk Strait

Seventeen-year-old Ishwari Pande, a completely blind swimmer from Nagpur, has made history by becoming the first visually impaired individual to cross the Palk Strait from Sri Lanka to India. She completed the 29km swim in 11 hours and 15 minutes, guided by her coach and a team of experienced swimmers.
