A 13-year-old male elephant in Jamshedpur's Koyan forest range sustained a fractured front right leg from an IED blast. Three veterinarians are currently administering passive medication on-site as the elephant lies in a frail condition in a drain. Efforts are underway to stabilize its health for potential transport to a rescue center.
