A young cheetal, grievously injured by a pack of feral dogs in Palamu Tiger Reserve's South Division, has been successfully rescued by forest personnel. The animal, attacked in its hind legs at Jarhee, found refuge near the Maromar rest house where guards intervened. It is now under close observation in an enclosure.
