India 'interested' in hosting 2030 Commonwealth Games, intends to bring back sports axed from Glasgow 2026
If successful in its bid, India will be hosting the Commonwealth Games for the second time, having previously done so in New Delhi in 2010. It will also bring back sports such as hockey, wrestling and badminton that have been removed from the Glasgow Games next year.
