IIT Guwahati hosts first care conference on data science and AI to shape responsible AI development in India

IIT Guwahati hosted its first CARE Conference on Data Science and AI, uniting global universities, Indian institutes, industry leaders, and policymakers to shape a responsible national AI framework. The three-day event explored advances in generative modeling, explainability, healthcare AI, robotics, quantum algorithms, cryptanalysis, and high-performance computing. Insights will inform India’s upcoming AI Vision Document, aimed at building an inclusive, transparent, and future-ready AI ecosystem while strengthening long-term collaborative research networks.
