Heavy rain lashes Kerala: IMD issues 'orange' alert for Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad
Heavy rains continue to lash parts of Kerala on Thursday. The India Meteorological Department issued an orange alert for three districts. Several other areas remained under a yellow alert for heavy rainfall. Uprooted trees and snapped branches caused widespread disruption across the state. Waterlogging and flooding were reported as the monsoon intensified.
