Rocket Learning has launched Appu, an AI-powered tutor for children aged 3–6 in India, to support early childhood education. Developed with Google.org Fellows, Appu is freely accessible and focuses on pre-literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. Piloted by thousands, it aims to reach 50 million families by 2030. A $1.5 million Google grant supported its development.
